Solutions Sales Director, Upstream
RigUp is looking for a leader with a knack for driving results who can manage and develop multiple teams. We are the largest revenue generating group within a hyper-growth organization looking to take sales teams to the next level. Critical to success in the role is the ability to identify training and process gaps and drive disciplined accountability while maintaining a sales culture of reward and recognition.
In this role, you’ll drive revenue and market share growth within our Upstream Oil & Gas market. You will directly manage other sales managers and be responsible for all revenue and profits related goals for these teams.

What you'll be doing:
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Develop and execute a plan for scaling the team structure and goals
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Working with Managing Director and other Upstream leaders to think through/execute on strategic goals
- Nail your Team KPIs
- Develop high potential managers on your team and ensure that they are developing their teams
- Deliver feedback to product teams to improve our tools, technology, and products
- Drive accountability through performance management and commitment to sales coaching and development of every team member.
- Identify training needs and work with Sales Enablement & Training to address the identified gaps to build out a fully functioning SDR sales training program
- Take responsibility for working with other internal stakeholders to build processes and procedures that allow execution of the deliverables your teams are selling
What you should have:
- 10+ years of sales experience in either B2B or B2C
- 2+ years of experience leading and developing other sales managers
- Strong knowledge of the Upstream Oil & Gas marketplace, specifically E&P companies
- Consistent track record driving acquisition and product adoption
- Strong knowledge and documented experience of success in a marketplace business
- Program management or process improvement
- High level of comfort working in and explaining technology platforms
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally
- Strong communication skills in both writing and speaking
- Analytical and experienced with managing business forecasts and budgets; organized, data-driven, and goal-oriented
- Strategic mindset with an eye for good process and scalability
- Detailed knowledge of Salesforce & Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to thrive in an environment of rapid growth, change and ambiguity; familiarity with Agile Framework
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Ability to travel domestically 20-30%
