Summary Objective

BlueVine is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead partner acquisition & management for our rapidly growing Payments ISO category.  By winning new marquee partnerships in the category, you will help drive expanded distribution of BlueVine’s Line of Credit offering, and other follow-on products. This is a new high-potential channel for Bluevine and a key part of our growth strategy. .  You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced selling environment with a short sales cycle. You onboard new business quickly, and maintain a high level of contact with previously onboarded accounts. You thrive on getting deals done and driving impact. 

Responsibilities

  • Build a pipeline of prospective Payments  partners, and then aggressively pursue the highest value relationships
  • Own the deal cycle from initial prospecting through negotiation and contract signing
  • Successfully onboard and activate new partners for BlueVine in the Payments  vertical
  • Educate signed partners on how to sell our products – as the BlueVine sales expert, you can coach inside sales teams on the synergies between BV core products and those of the Payments space
  • Travel to Payments conferences, professional associations, and trade shows as a BlueVine representative. Meet with our Payments ISO partners regularly around the country
  • Be a strong, professional representative of the company in a public-facing capacity 


Required Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in fast-paced sales role specializing in the Payments  space
  • Direct experience working with Payments ISO’s and processing companies
  • Goal-oriented – has excelled in a quota-based environment
  • Ability to be an individual contributor and a team leader
  • Creative thinker and skilled negotiator
  • Well-rounded skill set (strategy, sales, negotiation, and implementation)
  • Experience in a fast-growing, fast-moving startup environment a plus
