DESCRIPTION

EPAM is looking for a talented Business Development Lead with experience selling cyber security services. The Business Development Lead will be responsible for driving revenue for EPAM’s Cyber Security practice and must have the willingness to commit themselves to opportunities and follow them through from prospect through closing. The candidate will work closely with internal technical, sales, and account management teams and represent and sell EPAM’s offerings in client-facing pitch presentations. We are looking for an individual with superb written, verbal, and client-facing presentation skills and a strong passion for building the cyber security business and its revenue. The right applicant should be motivated to keep up with current technologies and maintain an awareness of industry trends, common threats and risks, and applicable solutioning.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop presentation decks for internal and client-facing pitches of capabilities
  • Meet with internal sales and account management teams to respond to requests and identify potential engagement leads
  • Meet with clients and identify business needs and gaps that align with our core offerings
  • Work with delivery leads to build out commercial proposals and pitch them to clients
  • Track and follow key industry trends from Gartner, Forrester and others and align our offerings and pitches to these industry trends as applicable
  • Manage sales pipeline ensuring periodic follow-ups as needed to move opportunities from prospect through close

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of sales or business development experience selling cyber security products or services
  • Experience selling to key industries such as: financial & insurance, retail, healthcare & life sciences, energy/oil & gas, manufacturing, high-tech
  • Knowledge of the unique security needs and challenges across key industries
  • Strong functional technical knowledge of: cloud security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), application security/SDLC, security operations (SOC), Zero Trust principles, incident response, threat hunting, penetration testing, red teaming, vulnerability management
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with global regulatory frameworks as they relate to cyber security and data privacy (GDPR, ISO-27000, HIPAA, HITECH, PCI-DSS, CCPA…etc)
  • Existing industry contacts that may evolve into potential leads/clients
  • Hands-on experience delivering cyber security services and/or performing implementations
