Strategic Account Executive – Payment Services
The Strategic Account Executive for Payment Services will be responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of customers for growing acceptance of Personify’s Payment Services offerings. They will be accountable for the achievement of Payment Services sales and revenue goals through the implementation of strategic sales plans with programs focused on merchant payment services and related offerings. The Strategic Account Executive will be directly responsible for closing payments opportunities as well as working collaboratively through and with the Personify account managers, account executives, and client success teams.
Major responsibilities include:
Provide Payment Services sales overlay/expertise in working across the Personify client base and new customers:
Provide assigned business verticals with necessary payment sales support by closing new business as well as existing business tied to strategic target accounts.
Managing sales activities to exceed assigned revenue objectives.
Providing strategic plans to penetrate key opportunities.
Providing tactical plans with specific measurable time frames to penetrate an account.
Providing accurate and timely sales forecasts to management.
Build and maintain strong cross-functional sales relationships between existing business and new business sales teams.
Ability to speak with C-Level Organizational leadership in promoting that virtues and value of a payment suite of offerings that are available fully integrated within our solutions
Develop and manage Payment Services sales team for assigned vertical and provide senior level payments expertise across the Payment Services teams:
Interface with Payment Services partner(s) to establish strategy for payment suite growth within the Personify client base and new business
Work directly with Sales leadership and cross-functionally including Product Management and Marketing to develop and refine outbound marketing lists, campaigns and programs.
Ensure key customer relationships are acknowledged, managed and leveraged.
Work with the management team to set accurate sales reporting and forecasts.
Participate in regular weekly sales team meetings to review activities, sales plans, pipelines, activity calendar, and overall sales performance against objectives and targets.
5+ years’ experience selling enterprise software or payments solutions
Preferred 3 years’ experience in merchant services related sales within the payment services and high-tech industry
Familiarity with non-profit organizations, trade associations, professional societies, and unions
Experience developing sales plans and tracking sales activity
Consultative approach, strong negotiation/communication skills, & excellent follow-through
Solid history of quota/KPI achievement
Outstanding written and verbal communication required
A positive attitude and the ability to stay flexible in a fast paced, changing environment
Demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully with internal and partner resources
A Bachelor's degree from accredited university is required
