ABOUT THE ROLE
As a member of the Strategic Partnerships team, you will work collaboratively across functions in a highly matrixed environment to launch new partnership opportunities, with the goal of driving growth and engagement with Realtor’s products and services. The position is preferred to be located in our Austin, TX office, but are open to other offices as well.
This is a highly visible, strategic position, working across internal teams to build the infrastructure that will drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, sound business judgment, along with the ability to work independently. We’re looking for someone who has a demonstrated success to think strategically and thrives on tackling complex and ambiguous problems and challenges. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the VP of Strategic Partnerships.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Manage the strategy, execution, and integration of key alliance relationships that will expand revenue streams and channels
-Strong understanding and relationship with product organization in a fast-paced software company
-Identify and qualify potential strategic alliance partners and lead the development of a joint business case and value proposition
-Understand alliance partner needs and partnering drivers, manage and help ensure fulfillment of expectations, identify alliance risk factors, and develop and implement risk mitigation
-Lead contract negotiations and handle partner referral and teaming agreements including baseline terms and conditions that govern the relationship
-Cross-functional alignment of goals and execution (i.e., product, engineering, FP&A, accounting, analytics, marketing)
-Own, measure and grow partnership partners and initiatives against identified KPIs, including testing and optimization efforts to maximize partnership and business performance and achieve established goals
-Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape for the offering and inform future business opportunities and priorities
WHAT WE LIKE TO SEE / MEASURES OF SUCCESS:
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. MBA preferred, but not required
-7+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, sales strategy, product strategy or a high growth start up
-Excellent communication skills both oral and written is crucial
-Proven ability to develop opportunities from ideation to execution
-Experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives with solid business judgment
-Excellent analytical skills
-Strong knowledge of business and financial concepts
-Quick learner; willing to dive in and get her/his hands dirty
-Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct analysis, and make strategic recommendations
-Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
-Advanced Salesforce and Excel skills required
-Travel may be required
The position requires prolonged standing or sitting and repetitive hand and wrist motion. Operates phones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment. Some travel is required for this position.
