As QuotaPath embarks on its next phase of growth, we are seeking a VP of Sales to help fuel our continued success. You will be 100% supported by the CEO, the board, and the executive team to be successful.


This role is dynamic as not only are you responsible for growing our customer base, expanding our existing customer’s accounts, ensuring success during the customer lifecycle, recruiting, hiring, onboarding through inspired leadership, but you will act as an ambassador to the company as the ideal customer to QuotaPath yourself. The ideal candidate for the role is committed to winning, and has a proven track record of success leading sales teams to impressive results, which includes beating quota regularly. You not only possess the ability to lead people well, but also have experience negotiating contracts, a formidable  understanding of repeatable SaaS sales models, a strong sense of ownership, and a comfort working in a fast-paced, continuously evolving startup environment.

This role sits on the Executive team and reports directly to the CEO. The team is ready for you to take over and you have the backing of the board to immediately implement strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and lead a high-powered sales team that consistently executes against a well-defined sales process. The current team is seasoned vets with high ceilings and proven track records that will embrace coaching and leadership
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to exceed revenue targets and expand our rapidly growing customer base. We expect this base to grow 10x over the next 12 months.
  • Create a culture of winning and continuous improvement by attracting, recruiting, training, and mentoring exceptional sales talent
  • Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Marketing, Operations, and senior leadership to identify actionable strategies and initiatives that enable accelerated revenue expansion
  • Up-level your peers with your knowledge transfer of the industry and ability to build a high performing team yourself. QuotaPath will use your track record as the standard to help other high performing teams
  • Provide senior leadership greater visibility into Sales execution through improved forecasting, pipeline management, and key sales metric measurement & reporting
  • Maintain team accountability and define clear performance expectations with the C-suite via effective pipeline management, attentive people management, and accurate forecasting

Required Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years in sales as an individual contributor or Manager including 3+ years as a Director or above
  • Strong track record of building and leading high-performance sales teams that execute a repeatable sales motion and effectively partner with cross-functional collaboratorsInspirational and professional communicator in any medium with ability to foster deep relationships with C-level executives
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving hyper-growth startup environment that requires solving problems and thinking on your feet
  • Extremely analytical and passionate about process improvements with the ability to turn analysis into actionable insights and see those initiatives through to completionFearless, effective sales skill coach who can hold reps accountable and work well in a team selling environment
  • Working knowledge of CRM and sales engagement platforms like Salesforce and Hubspot
  • Data driven understand of the customer lifecycle and how all parts of the business affect the end results

About the location

QuotaPath is co-headquartered in Philadelphia and Austin. Our Sales team’s home base is our Austin office so living (or being willing to spend 1 week per month) in the Austin office is required. Board and management offsite travel is required quarterly as well.
