Role: Security Tools Engineer

Job Type: Full-time, Remote

Crogl is the knowledge engine for Security Operations and we are growing fast! We are currently looking for an Security Engineer to help scale and secure our growing team and infrastructure. You'll manage internal tools, support employees and ensure seamless, secure operations across our security and IT stack.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the primary administrator for internal tools, systems, and user access

  • Manage and support the configuration, integration, and upkeep of security tools (e.g., SSO, SDR, SIEM)

  • Troubleshoot issues with cloud platforms, networking, and endpoint environments (macOS, Windows, Linux)

  • Own onboarding/offboarding workflows, including account provisioning and asset management

  • Monitor system performance and support employees with day-to-day technical needs

  • Maintain internal documentation and automate recurring IT tasks where possible

What you bring to the team:

  • Experience managing internal IT systems and SaaS tools in a modern cloud-native environment

  • Familiarity with common security solutions (e.g., Okta, CrowdStrike, Splunk, SentinelOne, JAMF, MDM, Wiz)

  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and access management best practices

  • Proficiency with scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and configuration

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to support a distributed workforce

  • Strong attention to detail, documentation, and follow through

What makes you stand out from other candidates:

  • Background in IT at an early-stage startup or security-focused company

  • Experience implementing Zero Trust principles or security frameworks

  • Familiarity with AI workflows or secure infrastructure for LLMs, vector databases, or agents

  • Passion for building scalable, secure, and employee-friendly internal systems

Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field
