Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst in Dallas, TX.
The selected candidate will partner in the design of Business Intelligence information models, dashboards, metrics, and reports utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives
Position Responsibilities:
  • Partner in the design of Business Intelligence information models, dashboards, metrics, and reports utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives;
  • Combine programming, SQL skills, best practices, and business expertise to deliver efficient and scalable Business Intelligence solutions to improve business productivity and business outcomes;
  • Responsible for designing data models, dashboards, KPIs/metrics, and self-service reports utilizing R/Python, SQL, and Tableau skills;
  • Provide technical solutions to complex supply chain problems Independently determines and develops approaches to solutions;
  • Receive general direction for work that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives;
  • Produce financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports; and
  • Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources.

Multiple positions available.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Requires a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics or closely related business field and at least three years of experience as a Database Analyst, IT Analyst, or related, plus three (3) years of experience with each of the following skills:
  • Experience applying Database and SQL knowledge to gather, clean, and analyze supply chain data including Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, and Warehouse shipments to help make informed decisions;
  • Experience using Python to find patterns and signals in data to flag potential risks in ordering from suppliers and business opportunities by capturing demand signals from customers;
  • Experience converting data into meaningful information and communicating the information via data visualizations tools, including Tableau, PowerBI, and Spotfire;
  • Experience in business domain knowledge, enterprise resource planning solutions, including Oracle e-Business Suite and Salesforce, and customer relationship management modules in the supply chain and warehousing context;
  • Experience in RDBMS (Oracle, Teradata or SQL Server);
  • Experience in analysis techniques including data visualization, virtualization, data wrangling, machine learning, statistical modelling and quantitative analysis; and
  • Experience in Agile, DevOPS and Waterfall software development/deployment methodologies.

Domestic travel required up to 10%.

Summary pay $118,983 - $152,000 per year.
