About Kalkomey:

Kalkomey Enterprises is the trusted guide to outdoor success. Our platform connects millions of people to the outdoors every year, and we are the leading provider of safety-related education for outdoor recreational activities such as hunting, fishing, boating, snowmobiling, and more across North America. Since our founding in 1995, we’ve expanded to offer over 360 high-quality online educational courses, a suite of integrated web and mobile applications, and resources tailored to ensure outdoor enthusiasts recreate safely and successfully.

We’re looking for a strategic, analytical, and highly collaborative Senior Digital Marketing Manager to serve as a key growth leader within our marketing organization. This role is focused on driving growth through experimentation, funnel optimization, and cross-channel strategy, rather than direct ownership of individual marketing channels.

The ideal candidate brings a passion for the outdoors and a deep curiosity about how customers discover, adopt, and engage with digital products. You’ll work closely with the product, analytics, and marketing teams to identify growth opportunities across the funnel, design and execute experiments, and help ensure new consumer products and features launch successfully into the market.

You must reside in one of these US states: You must reside in one of the following U.S. states: AZ, CO, FL, IL, IN, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NV, OR, PA, RI, TX, VA, VT, WI — or in Ontario, Canada.

What You’ll Do:

Growth Strategy & Leadership:

  • Act as a senior thought partner within the marketing team, helping define growth strategy, priorities, and success metrics.

  • Identify and evaluate growth opportunities across channels, products, and the consumer funnel.

  • Influence channel mix and investment decisions through insights, experimentation results, and performance analysis.

Experimentation & Funnel Optimization

  • Lead the development of a structured growth experimentation roadmap across acquisition, activation, and conversion touchpoints.

  • Partner with the product and analytics team to design, execute, and analyze experiments across the purchase experience (onboarding, purchase funnel, post-purchase).

  • Translate experiment learnings into scalable growth loops and repeatable frameworks.

Product & Feature Launch Enablement

  • Play a key role in planning and executing go-to-market strategies for new consumer products and features.

  • Help define launch goals, measurement plans, and post-launch optimization strategies.

  • Ensure learnings from launches inform future growth initiatives and marketing strategies.

Performance Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze cross-channel performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Develop clear performance narratives and strategic recommendations for marketing leadership and senior stakeholders.

  • Partner with the analytics team to ensure growth metrics and dashboards support data-backed decision-making.

Cross-Functional & Cross-Channel Collaboration

  • Serve as a connective leader across paid marketing, product, analytics, creative, and lifecycle marketing teams.

  • Ensure growth initiatives are aligned and coordinated across channels, without directly owning all day-to-day execution.

  • Help foster a culture of collaboration, testing, and continuous improvement across the marketing organization.

What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 7-10 years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, or experimentation-focused roles.

  • Proven experience leading growth initiatives tied to conversion, funnel performance, and business outcomes.

  • Strong analytical and strategic skills with the ability to synthesize data into clear insights and recommendations.

  • Experience partnering closely with product and analytics teams on experimentation and conversion optimization initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence strategy and outcomes without direct channel ownership.

  • Familiarity with experimentation frameworks, A/B testing methodologies, and growth analytics.

  • Prior experience working with analytics, product analytics, experimentation, and BI tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, LaunchDarkly, Looker, Tableau).

  • Strong communication skills and executive presence, with experience working cross-functionally and with senior stakeholders.

  • Growth mindset, adaptability, and comfort operating in ambiguity.

  • Passion for outdoor recreation and alignment with Kalkomey’s mission.

  • Experience working in subscription, education, or consumer digital products is a plus.
