We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to lead Runpod’s marketing function and help us scale our go-to-market motions across both PLG (self-serve) and sales-led acquisition. You’ll be the architect of our developer-focused narrative, build awareness, and drive adoption through signal stacking, partnerships, and creative campaigns.

This is a hands-on, builder role—ideal for someone who wants to lead but isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and execute.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and own the overall marketing strategy for both PLG and sales-led growth.
  • Build the marketing function from the ground up, including demand generation, developer marketing, and partner marketing.

PLG & Developer Growth

  • Drive acquisition and engagement for our self-serve motion.
  • Craft clear, compelling developer communications, content, and campaigns that resonate with technical users.
  • Optimize funnel performance through signal stacking and experimentation.

Sales-Led & Enterprise Motion

  • Partner closely with Sales to fuel pipeline generation.
  • Build scalable playbooks for ABM, events, and campaigns targeting enterprise buyers.

Brand & Partnerships

  • Position Runpod as the go-to platform for developers and companies building with AI.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with ecosystems, communities, and key platforms.
  • Amplify Runpod’s presence through thought leadership, events, and strategic collaborations.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years in marketing with at least 2+ years in a leadership role at a high-growth tech startup.
  • PLG expertise: Proven track record of growing a self-serve product, ideally in developer tools, infrastructure, or SaaS.
  • Sales enablement: Experience supporting a sales-led motion in parallel with PLG.
  • Developer-first mindset: Ability to communicate authentically with developers through content, community, and partnerships.
  • Go-to-market creativity: Comfort with testing new channels, storytelling approaches, and growth strategies.
  • Builder mentality: Excited to own strategy and execution in a lean, fast-moving startup.
  • Successful completion of a background check.

What You’ll Receive:

  • The competitive base pay for this position ranges from ($180,000 - $280,000). This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Runpod and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location
