Role Description

Dropbox is looking for a passionate and organized Analyst Relations Manager to help evolve our relationships with the analyst community and support key business initiatives through insights and influence. This individual will sit within the Product Marketing team and play a critical role in coordinating analyst interactions, preparing briefing materials, and ensuring Dropbox Core and Dropbox Dash are effectively represented across key analyst evaluations and industry conversations.

In this role, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing, communications, product, and sales to execute Dropbox’s analyst relations program and help ensure we’re delivering the right messages to the right analysts at the right time. You’ll support both push efforts (briefings, inquiry coordination, events) and pull efforts (gathering insights from analysts to inform business strategy), with a focus on execution, content development, and relationship management.

This is an ideal opportunity for a high-agency communicator with experience in analyst relations or a related function—especially someone who thrives in a cross-functional role that blends communications, messaging, and industry awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Support Dropbox’s analyst relations program through coordination of analyst briefings, inquiries, and major report evaluations (e.g., Gartner Magic Quadrant, Forrester Wave).
  • Partner with product marketing, comms, sales, customer marketing, and product teams to develop high-quality briefing materials, including messaging briefs, customer case studies, and product strategy overviews.
  • Track and maintain ongoing relationships with key industry analysts, ensuring timely and relevant follow-ups.
  • Manage inbound analyst requests and facilitate internal alignment on messaging and subject matter experts.
  • Synthesize analyst insights and evaluations into clear summaries and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
  • Support planning and execution for key moments, including analyst content for Dropbox events and dedicated analyst briefings.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to execute day-to-day activities and ensure alignment on Dropbox’s strategic priorities.
  • Maintain a regular cadence of internal reporting on analyst interactions, trends, and competitive intelligence gathered through the AR channel.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in analyst relations, product marketing, communications, or a related function—ideally in the B2B SaaS or technology industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience simplifying complex ideas for different audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience preparing materials for senior audiences, including briefing documents and messaging guides.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a self-starter mindset.
  • Working knowledge of the analyst landscape (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC) and industry evaluation processes.
  • Experience supporting analyst evaluations (e.g., Magic Quadrant, Wave) and coordinating content reviews or submissions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Dropbox’s core product areas or adjacent categories (e.g., content collaboration, productivity, security, AI).
  • Experience working with AR tools or CRM platforms to manage outreach and reporting.
  • Prior work with external AR or PR agencies.
  • MBA or advanced business/marketing strategy experience.
