The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Manager to lead a team of TechnicalProgram Managers (TPMs) and Program Managers in of our our product portfolioareas. If you have strong experience with program management,software development best practices, and are passionate about helping productengineering teams apply Agile principles to improve productivity, then weare looking for you. This opportunity combines the management leadershipactivities of an agile team with the product and technical acumen of theportfolio to help continuously improve the delivery value to our customers. 

What You’ll Do:

This role is a management role involving team membermanagement of program managers and technical program managers with the focus onproduct delivery and operational efficiency within a product portfolio area.

Team Management: 

  • Manage and lead a team ofTPMs and Program Managers following Agile methodologies.
  • Organize, promote, anddrive Agile development processes within the team.
  • Recruit, mentor, andmotivate great engineering talent.
  • Build a team committed toa continuous improvement and oneteam mindset.
  • Mentor team members andidentify growth opportunities for career development.
  • Lead the resolution ofimpediments and escalations across the portfolio suite.
  • Drive alignment withinthe portfolio’s product teams across our product and engineering organizations. 

Portfolio Operations: 

  • Champion the portfolio’sproduct strategy, objectives and metrics via leadership, influence and leverageto maximize output and customer value
  • Serve as the product andengineering area’s ambassador to the rest of the company, promotingcollaboration and ensuring information is flowing both directions
  • Drive efficiencies andincrease quality in our delivery to help achieve the goals of the company.
  • Scale Agile across allteams, and make the Partner and Marketplace teams the standard bearer of howteams can be agile.
  • Drive efficiencies andincrease quality in our delivery, and help product achieve the goals of thecompany.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Management experiencewith ability to lead teams through issue resolution and risk management.
  • 10+ years of ProgramManagement experience in a high-tech company, preferably in a B2C eCommerceenvironment.
  • High level ofinitiative, passion, and desire to create a world-class user experience forcustomers.
  • Demonstrated experiencedriving agile software development with engineering, product, and functionalteams.
  • Demonstrated expertisein best practices for software development, and the ability to evolve thosepractices according to technology and business trends.
  • Excellent written andspoken communication skills, including the ability to present complex conceptsto highly engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
  • Comfortable presentingto large internal groups and leadership team members.
  • Proven track of recordmanaging multiple, ongoing complex programs while managing expectations aroundAgile target delivery dates.
  • Understanding of andconversational fluency around N-Tier software development architectures andproduct dependencies.
  • BA/BS requiredpreferably in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration or relatedfields (applicable experience may be substituted).
  • Agilemindset and workplace experience in a fast-paced software developmentenvironment.
