The Under Armour Connected Fitness team, the world’s most integrated digital health suite of apps, devices, and apparel, needs an experienced digital marketing analyst to join our Sales team in our downtown Austin office. The Senior Product Analyst will partner with our pre-Sales team and our Account Managers to support building and servicing the relationships with our sponsorship partners. The ideal candidate will be able to merge qualitative and quantitative data to devise insights and customer-facing presentations. We are looking for someone who is passionate and thereby immersed in the latest social media and digital platforms. Must have demonstrated ability to navigate through largely self-service data sources in order to explore data sets; and subsequently, measure campaign performance and ultimately, create communicate insight.

We’re looking for solutions-provider who naturally turns to internal experts and to Google in times of need. Tasks will include: 

  • In depth analysis of digital health consumer data, including
    • User behavior analysis
    • Segmentation studies
    • Driver analyses
  • Sponsorship sales support and account management
    • Pre-sales development of compelling user insights
    • Performance metrics definition, algorithm development and automation
    • Reporting and visualization
  • Integration with Engineering teams
    • Requirements building for sponsorship feature development
    • Instrumentation optimization with development engineers
  • Complex data analysis tasks
    • Data anomaly detection and correction modeling
    • Transformation and manipulation scripting
    • Conversion of data into stories for client audience consumption
  • Cross-team support for multiple application platforms and verticals

The candidate must have experience with:

  • Advanced degree in an analytical field (computer science, math/statistics, hard sciences) and 3+ years in data analytics, or BA/BS in like field with 5+ years work experience.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and capability to break down complex business questions into solvable use cases using data and algorithms
  • Communicating data stories in written and verbal form to wide audiences of varying levels of sophistication
  • AWS Redshift/Athena/S3 etc. environment experience with advanced DB/SQL skills including ETL for data transformation (e.g., time series data transformation, feature set classification)
  • Demonstrated expertise with advanced visualization - Tableau Desktop/Server or relevant Python UI library experience (e.g., MatplotLib, Seaborn, ggplot, Bokeh, GeoPlotLib, Gleam etc)
  • Programming in a scripting environment (e.g. shell, Python)
  • Open source statistical package/library (e.g. R, SciPy/Panda/Numby) for regression, classification, etc
