Who You Are: We are looking for a Senior Sales Executive with a deep understanding of the AdTech ecosystem to drive business growth and secure strategic relationships with leading agencies and brand clients.
In this role you will focus on building and expanding a book of business, with a strong emphasis on the client acquisition and growing existing accounts. You will work closely with our Account Management and Ad Ops teams, while positioning Next Millennium’s offerings in a competitive market.
What You'll Do:
- Subject Matter Expertise in AdTech: Become a thought leader on digital and programmatic advertising, demonstrating a strong command of the industry to successfully meet sales targets.
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and execute sales strategies to introduce and position our solutions to new agency and brand clients, focusing on driving growth and securing long-term partnerships.
- Outbound Sales: Conduct outbound calls, emails, and leverage LinkedIn and other networking platforms to generate leads and establish relationships with prospective clients.
- Manage and Grow Your Book of Business: Build and maintain strong relationships with local advertisers, programmatic marketers, and digital buyers to ensure continued business opportunities.
- Industry Insight & Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging AdTech strategies, and innovative solutions to proactively advise clients and position our services effectively.
- Client-Facing Engagements: Attend industry events (including those requiring travel) to meet with clients, expand your network, and stay up-to-date with the latest trends.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the Account Management team to ensure successful campaign execution, and maintain open communication with clients to address their needs proactively.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant sales experience in digital media or AdTech.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in AdTech, programmatic advertising, or related fields (preferably working with agencies and brands).
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term, strategic relationships with clients, anticipate market trends, and build tailored sales plans.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities, acting as a subject matter expert in client conversations.
- Result-Oriented: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with a strong drive to succeed even in the face of challenges and objections.
- Adaptability: You are agile and able to pivot strategies when needed, always seeking ways to improve and test new ideas.
- Collaboration & Teamwork: You will work closely with internal teams, sharing knowledge and ensuring alignment across functions to support client success.
- Resilience: The ability to stay motivated and positive when facing rejection or setbacks.
- Industry Savvy: An in-depth understanding of AdTech tools, DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, and other programmatic platforms.
