Our team supports this vision by building the business services that power our app and web platforms to deliver a frictionless experience in discovery and redemption of savings while at home or in the store. We use analytics data, shopping pattern and location data to inform our offer personalization. We build solutions to handle complex challenges in real-time and distributed systems. We constantly add new ways to provide more content and incremental value for our users and merchants.

In this role, you'll tackle many challenges: the complex process of content ingestion, processing of massive data streams, systems integration, fault tolerance and scalability, and content customization.

Who You Are

• You have an ownership mentality and track record of delivering successful high quality solutions.
• You bring a proven understanding and application of computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms and design patterns
• You consider yourself proficient with technologies such as Java, Python, Node.js, SQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Docker and AWS.
• You champion agile development and XP practices such as CI/CD, TDD, and pair programming.
• You have experience with common software engineering tools such as Git, JIRA, TeamCity, Confluence or similar
• You have 5+ years of application development experience
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, bachelor's degree in a STEM field, or equivalent self-study of computer science

What You'll do

• You will develop new features in RMN services that support the web and mobile platforms.
• You will maintain and improve our software responsible for ingesting thousands of new offers per day.
• You'll contribute to the overall system design, architecture, security, scalability, reliability and performance of applications
• You'll trouble-shoot and assist with production support issues
• You’ll be a coach and mentor to less experienced developers
• You'll stay actively engaged in new technologies and recommend technologies that best fit the team and organization.
