Senior Zuora Administrator
BigCommerce, named a 2017 “Best Place to Work” in Austin, TX, is seeking a full-time Senior Zuora Administrator for Austin Four Points office. In this exciting role you will be responsible for administrative support of our recurring billing system. This includes the strategy, planning, deployment and operational management of the information systems, policies, and procedures that support the billing process in Zuora as well as integrations with other systems required by the billing process (such as Salesforce). This position will serve as a resource to the Controller and will be working fully independently.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide day-to-day end user support of Zuora functions to all levels of the organization
- Create and manage user accounts and groups including security configuration
- Add, delete and modify users as employees are hired, transferred or leave the organization
- Create and manage the product catalog, revenue recognition rules, journal runs and EOM reports
- Manage the software testing process, which includes devising test plans, creating test cases, establishing protocols and appropriate testing environments and coordinating actual software testing
- Manage Zuora development deployments from development environments to production
- Complete bulk imports and exports of data - archive unused data
- Manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users
- Create and refine reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
- Assist users and stakeholders with analytics and report design and management
- Participate in the integration testing and data validation process of Zuora with other enterprise systems, such as Salesforce
- Create SOPs to document system usage and customization
- Develop new user training guide and train new users
- Keep abreast of new Zuora features and functionality and providing recommendations for process improvements
Who You Are:
- 3-5 years of experience with Zuora recurring billing software
- Bachelor’s degree required; university-level accounting courses including a minimum of Accounting I and II is preferred
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) in support of business administration processes
- Experience with prevention and management of fraud, including chargebacks
- Knowledge of best practices around billing support processes or other equivalent sophisticated billing systems across a larger organization, including billing process optimization, automation of manual processes and follow billing process best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and respond quickly and efficiently to billing system issues of varying complexity
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to research & solve complex issues independently
- Possess proven ability to multi-task various duties and assignments while maintaining quality work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google for Work applications
- Superior communication skills including the ability to communicate and discuss complex billing or system issues with non-technical staff
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills working with billing system users and stakeholders
- Ability to establish rapport with others and work well as part of a dynamic team
