Vyopta Incorporated is seeking a Software Engineer, Cloud Analytics to join our growing company in Austin, TX. This individual will be responsible for the successful integration and deployment of Vyopta’s software solutions to clients and partners, as well a providing continued technical support for system administration issues. 

Responsibilities

• Analyze clients’ needs and software requirements to determine appropriate design.
• Consult with engineers, programmers and other team members to design systems to meet clients’ needs.
• Modify existing software to address clients’ needs and improve performance.
• Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance and ascertain budgetary/time constraints.
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
• Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
• Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
• Embrace technical excellence and the shared responsibility for writing testable, high performance, maintainable code.
• Excel in creative software design, and have strong technical expertise to quickly understand the Vyopta architecture, platform, and API services.
• Assist with client training and technical support as needed for Vyopta professional services, partners and clients. 

Requirements                     

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or Computer Information Systems course work must include Business Database Systems & Data Warehousing.
• 1 year work experience in field of Software Engineering to include experience in relational database management.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and OLAP & OLTP models.
• Programing experience in the following: C#, Java, ASP.NET, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, XML, WebServices/SOAP, and SQL.
