We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Audience Direct team. Our team focuses on connecting merchants and brands with the audiences they care about. We build the advertising technology platform that enables merchants to reach the right set of shoppers on RMN’s sites, in mobile apps, and across the web. We are at the forefront of audience targeting and native advertising that will deliver both high quality sponsored contents and personalized advertising experience to delight our users.

Our engineering challenges require innovative solutions to solve challenging problems including understanding user shopping behavior, audience segmentation, cross-device tracking, predicting relevant advertisement for users, operation workflow to manage sponsored contents, optimization of yield, and analytics for advertising performance reporting.

We are an integrated team of software engineers, quality engineers and product managers working together to ideate and innovate. We work closely with many departments including UX designers, business analysts, and ads operations to deliver end to end workflow solutions.

In your role, you will lead a group of full stack software engineers and quality engineers working on front-end UIs, APIs, backend systems, and third party integration. Front end UI work include iOS, Android and web development. Our servers are Java-based and run on AWS infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Recruit, coach and grow high performing engineers
• Guide team members to make good technical decisions
• Lead project management for your team, and take ownership of your team's delivery in close collaboration with product management, business analysts, designers, and other engineering teams
• Drive iterative and on-time delivery of software
• Lead ideation and discovery of technology solutions to improve user experience and drive business value
• Champion test automation and engineering best practices
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve engineering process, employees’ success, and business success
