About the Job:
As an Application Engineer at Doodle Labs, you'll be deeply embedded in the heart of wireless mesh networking and robotics technology, working hands-on to bring next-generation connectivity solutions to life. This role is ideal for a builder and a tinkerer-someone who thrives on transforming advanced R&D innovations into real-world solutions for unmanned systems and connected teams. • Publish one white paper or demo video monthly on practical use cases and technical benefits of Doodle Labs' products, establishing the company as a thought leader and supporting customers with comprehensive resources
  • Address technical challenges like connecting numerous vehicles in a single network and integrating with robotic systems to create deployable solutions that meet performance benchmarks for range, speed, and reliability
  • Act as a liaison between product managers, R&D, sales, and marketing to ensure project alignment, maintaining bi-weekly updates and achieving smooth workflows from inception to deployment

What We Need to See:
  • Deep understanding of wireless communication systems, including RF signal propagation and digital communication technologies
  • Proven experience in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting 802.11-based networks
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, including experience with IP radios. Familiarity with OpenWrt is highly desirable
  • Comfortable working within a Linux environment for networking and debugging purposes, with the ability to modify, deploy, and operate Linux-based systems in the field
  • Understanding of robotics systems architecture including networking, sensors, controllers, and processing units
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in the wireless communications industry

Compensation Range:
Total Compensation including Performance-Based Bonuses: $120,000-$170,000 annually.
