The Opportunity: 

HomeAway is growing and so is the Early Talent team! We are looking for a technical and customer focused Senior University Recruiter to support HomeAway’s growing Early Talent recruiting efforts. This person will be responsible for the hiring interns and recent grads across our entire organization in the US. This person will have the opportunity to contribute to optimizing our early talent recruiting processes and help lead the team as a close partner to the Early Talent Recruiting Manager. The Senior University Recruiter will also have the opportunity to mentor another recruiter on the team and partner closely with senior leaders across the company to plan and deliver on Early Talent strategies.

 Your Impact:

  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with Universities to build a world class talent pipeline including university faculty, staff and student organizations.
  • Work closely with leadership from 1st line managers to C-team to plan Early Talent recruiting strategies.
  • Develop, communicate, and drive a simplified recruiting process to create a world class candidate/hiring manager experience.
  • Assist in leading US based university recruiting efforts across the organization, including leading and mentoring other members of the team.
  • Ability to recruit against roles that are leveraging cutting edge technologies that will have an impact on revenue, business decisions, site features, & creating unique user experiences.
  • Work directly/partner with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to drive diversity throughout our organization and build our base of world class talent.
  • Reporting and visualization of data to TA and business leadership team to help build continued engagement with early talent.
  • Plan and manage multiple events from recruiting events to intern events focused on retention.

 What You’re Good At:

  • Providing & analyzing data regularly to show the effectiveness and impact of your efforts and to help influence leadership.
  • Manage large recruiting events with multiple stakeholders.
  • Manage and influence up to 60 reqs at a time.
  • Bringing new ideas to a collaborative Early Talent recruiting team.
  • Ability to drive hiring managers & teams to decisions in a timely manner.

 Requirements:

  • 7+ years of recruiting experience in a high volume, high growth environment.
  • 3+ years of in-house university recruiting experience working face to face with hiring managers.
  • Proven ability to handle large number of requisitions at once, at various stages and levels of complexity.
  • Familiarity with social networking platforms and social recruiting strategies.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize, stay organized, set clear expectations and drive the hiring process while delivering expert support and results.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to create, measure, and scale optimal workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
