As a Strategic Initiatives Delivery Director within the Acquiring Platform and Rails (APR) team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and enhancement of Data & Reporting solutions to cater to the needs of our current and prospective clients. You will keep up with market trends and manage both short- and long-term investments to boost competitiveness and profitability. As a part of the APR Leadership Team, you will use your advanced skills to challenge traditional methods, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation. You will balance the needs of different regions, segments, and lines of business against limited resources, while promoting an operating model focused on end-to-end client value. This approach will motivate cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions that increase operating leverage and effectively meet customer needs..
Job responsibilities
  • Leads a Strategic Initiative into delivery including development, execution, risk management, in coordination of business growth targets, clients and regional segments.
  • Coordinates with global stakeholders inside and outside of the product organization to: 1) complete detailed designs and arrive into an implementation sized; 2) sequence deliveries against overall solution; 3) deliver a solution that can be tested and scaled globally; 4) successfully transfer solution to platform leaders to operate and scale.
  • Leads the relevant PDLC process sections in the creation of solutions, with a focus on disciplined planning and delivery.
  • Owns solution performance as aggregated against the activities of the client and regional segments and is responsible for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
  • Establishes and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of global initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates and strategic insights to senior management and stakeholders on global progress and challenges.
  • Facilitate global meetings and presentations to drive consensus and alignment on strategies and solutions, including last mile differences by region.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 8+ years of experience within merchant acquiring/merchant services
  • Expertise on the extensive usage and application of data, data management and reporting
  • Expertise on UX and UI design
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across functions
  • Product management experience, including strategy, market analysis, synthesis of client feedback, communication, reporting, performance monitoring/metrics, risk/compliance management.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment, creating positive relationships across varied peer groups to align on solution outcomes
  • Executive presence and impeccable communication skills - written and oral

  • Recognized thought leader within merchant acquiring and related fields
  • Preferred experience in product roles in a global matrixed organization
