What You'll Do:
As a member of the Product Management team, the Technical Writer is responsible for researching and documenting our AwareCDI platform. The candidate will work with product managers, developers, and other subject matter experts to create user guides, online help, release notes, and other documentation for the platform. In this role, the candidate will:

  • Conduct independent research on products and personas to create engaging content for our clients.
  • Interview subject matter experts and collaborate with them to create documentation.
  • Translate highly technical, complex information into human readable, client-facing content.
  • Create clear plans for researching, documenting, maintaining, and deprecating content.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop best-in-class user guides, release notes, and contextual help for our products.
  • Measure the efficacy of content and adjust accordingly.
  • Maintain the integrity of our business and trust of our clients by operating with a security-first approach to all workplace activities.


What we'd love to see:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical writing role.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Experience creating content with an industry-standard authoring tool such as MadCap Flare, Adobe Robohelp, Paligo, etc.
  • Ability to juggle many competing priorities while adhering to deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle and documentation's role throughout.
  • Basic understanding of data science concepts such as AI and NLP.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and Google products (MS Word, Google Docs, Google Sheets).


Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous experience in or working knowledge of the healthcare industry.
  • Experience creating and managing content in Zendesk.
  • Experience with Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence.
