THE ROLE:

FloSports is seeking a Vice President of Global Partnerships to lead the strategic direction, execution, and growth of our global media rights and licensing partnerships. This executive role will oversee the team responsible for developing, optimizing, and managing relationships with media rights partners around the world. The VP will be responsible for elevating high-impact partnerships, driving key business initiatives, and ensuring strategic alignment across the broader organization to maximize the value of FloSports' rights portfolio.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, exceptional communicator, proactive problem-solver, and experienced leader who thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. They must have a strong background in sports media partnerships, account management, and business development, with a track record of building and scaling high-performing teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and execute the overarching strategy for global partnerships, aligning with FloSports' business objectives.

  • Lead the management of all media rights and licensing agreements with key partners, including leagues, federations, and broadcasters.

  • Ensure partnerships are set up to deliver maximum value, audience reach, and strategic impact to FloSports.

  • Oversee the lifecycle management of key partnerships, ensuring obligations are met and relationships are optimized.

  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of Global Partnerships Directors, Managers, Specialists and Coordinators ensuring alignment with company goals and best practices.

  • Foster a high-performance culture, encouraging strategic thinking, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including content, marketing, legal, finance, and product teams, to drive seamless execution of partnership initiatives.

  • Identify and develop scalable processes to ensure FloSports is able to unlock value across  existing partnerships, leveraging data-driven insights to drive year-over-year growth.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders, rights holders, and key stakeholders to drive long-term business expansion.

  • Work cross-functionally to explore evolve partnership terms, considering both partner and FloSports deliverables and expectations.

  • Support legal and business negotiations, leveraging expertise in media rights and contract analysis to secure favorable outcomes.

  • Monitor partner performance, audience engagement, and financial impact to optimize strategic decision-making.

  • Oversee contract compliance and operational workflows to ensure long-term partnership success.

  • Lead partnership review efforts that analyze contract performance and identify partnerships that are under or overperforming.Ensure effective financial oversight of partnerships, including tracking performance metrics, optimizing revenue opportunities, and maintaining strong partner relationships.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

  • 10+ years of experience in account management, business development, or media rights management.

  • Exceptional leadership and team-building experience, with a history of developing high-performing teams.

  • Proven experience creating and developing leading-edge and innovative customer relationship strategies that drive long-term success and engagement.

  • Deep understanding of sports media, digital distribution, and content monetization models.

  • Strong network within the sports ecosystem, including leagues, federations, rights holders, and media partners.

  • Ability to analyze complex legal agreements and collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance.

  • Strong data-driven decision-making skills, with experience leveraging analytics to optimize partnerships.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint).

  • Experience in sports or media broadcast rights industries is a plus.

  • Ability to travel up to 20% as needed.
