Visual Designer

 

In this role, the visual designer will play an integral part in the design process in bringing to life the customer experience for small business owners. You will work closely with a hybrid team that is developing a new service offering to create and implement a visual language aligned with LegalZoom visual branding, for the product experience and associated marketing assets. This is an exciting opportunity for a visual designer who can also act as an art director to tell a consistent and compelling story across product touchpoints and web and print collateral.

 

Responsibilities

 

Product Interface

• Applying and evolving an existing visual language to new design and product solutions
• Contribute to the overall interaction and flow of the solution
• Fluidly creates everything from quick sketches to production-ready assets
• Ability to concept, create and develop interactive experiences for interfaces (web and mobiles), applications and software
• Responsible for the development of visual interface design, layouts (physical and digital) and typography
•  

Customer Experience

• Provide art direction on physical and digital collateral to drive a consistent visual language and activation of the brand across the customer experience
• Ability to create and deliver production-ready assets (e.g one-pagers, brochures, pitch decks, welcome kits)

Experience Required

• • Solid understanding of user-centered design
  • Fluency in digital solution development
  • Diverse experience that ranges across traditional and digital mediums
  • Ability to translate high-level concepts or ideas into distinct visual styles or art directions
  • Critique: Able to take feedback and iterate quickly
  • Comfortable moving in a fast-paced, environment
  • Knowledge of wireframing and/or prototyping tools is a plus
  • Experience designing for software
  • Strong knowledge of PowerPoint is a must
  • Comfortable working on a project that is fluid and in a constant state of evolution
  • Expert knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator

• Portfolio of both digital and traditional work

 

Education Required

• BS/BA degree preferred, but not required

• Minimum of three years of experience in visual design, graphic design, advertising art direction, or visual communication
