The Product Marketing Specialist (PMM) is responsible for the marketing content strategy and go-to-market initiatives for a core Magento product area. The role will focus on building and managing strong messaging for Marketing and IT buyers and System Integrator partners, engaging with technical audiences to evangelize product capabilities, enabling field teams to position and promote them, and partnering with corporate marketing to target the right buyers and influencers. This includes working with our engineering and product team to deeply understand the products capabilities and value for our targeted markets and influence the product development for the targeted use case experiences. The PMM will also conduct market research to influence product direction and roadmap, go-to-market programs and business decisions. Using this information and knowledge the PMM will develop key messages and value propositions and drive creation of collateral to drive marketing and sales activities. As a senior member of the team, the PMM will take an active role in ensuring the product meets revenue targets and strategic goals. The position will report to Director of Product Marketing, SMB Commerce.
