 As Product Manager, you will guide a team that is charged with a product line contribution as a business unit. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market. You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with an engineering counterpart to define product release requirements. You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.

Identify and manage the platform, infrastructure shared services, and APIs required to empower product teams to deliver delightful experiences to both internal and external users. Identify changes to legacy systems (movement to new tech, modification of implementation patterns, etc.) that would enable future product opportunities and a more resilient developer platform. Partner with vertical product teams to define best practices and approaches to leverage the platform and infrastructure capabilities to meet business needs.  Serve as the subject matter expert and evangelist for the H-E-B Digital platform and infrastructure stack, ensuring that all stakeholders understand their purpose, capabilities, and roadmap. Maintain a deep understanding of the market and technology landscape, how it-s evolving, the implications for our customers, and how all that should shape where we should take the platform and infrastructure stack next.  Own the ideation and planning of discovery activities to identify new customer / business problems that could be solved by the platform and infrastructure teams; build the business case for new features and gain approval from stakeholders. Lead the product development lifecycle; work with engineers and architects to produce a groomed, prioritized backlog that aligns the work to business goals.
