gShift today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire SiteCondor, an Austin, Texas-based technology startup that develops website auditing tools for digital agencies and content marketers. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Virtiux raises over $800K

Amazon opens Austin office

Billing software maker plans extensive hiring

Get Smart Content rakes in $3.5M, plans extensive hiring

Content targeting solution Get Smart Content has raised a $3.5 million round of new funding. The Austin company said it will use the capital to expand its sales team, as well as hire in customer support and services. The funding will also support continued development of their tech platform. Lending platform Able raises $6M, launches nationally

Small business loan platform Able ended its local pilot period this week, expanding its outreach to entrepreneurs nationwide. The Austin-based service has funded 24 small businesses locally and grown its portfolio to $3.5 million. Able’s 100 members comprise the entrepreneurs themselves and the backers they recruit among family and friends to fund 25 percent of their loan at an interest rate of their choosing. Bigcommerce announces new office plans

Bigcommerce announced last week it is moving into a new downtown office at 800 Brazos. The office will be used to host Bigcommerce's expanding engineering team, and it will provide space for the company to accommodate the growth.
