Sonar, a company providing open-source solutions to help developers write clean code, has appointed Lynne Doherty as president of field operations. Doherty brings over two decades of sales leadership experience to the company.
Before joining Sonar, Doherty was president of worldwide field operations at Sumo Logic where she helped optimize the go-to-market team for operational scale and speed. In her new role, Doherty will lead Sonar’s global demand generation, global sales, solutions engineering, customer success and customer support teams.
The company’s solutions, including SonarQube, SonarCloud and SonarLint, support over 30 programming languages and serve more than 400,000 organizations globally. Sonar’s technology works to help companies accelerate mission-critical software development, reduce technical debt and improve code quality and security. To date, the company says it’s analyzed over 500 billion lines of code.
