Spiceworks just might have the gig for you! We’re looking to sign an Ad Ops Specialist roadie who has the ambition and creativity to evolve into an Ad Ops rock star.

 

As the newest member of the Ad Ops band, you’ll oversee campaigns, measure effectiveness, and dive through data to figure out how to crank up ad performance — all while directly impacting a company’s bottom line. You’ll help Spiceworks’ advertisers shine for millions of screaming fans (IT pros) looking to find the products and services they need to rock their world. Responsibilities

Your day-to-day (as an Ad Ops Specialist, you’ll):

  • Traffic ads in Spiceworks using multiple ad server technologies
  • Manage ad inventory of more than 70 million impressions monthly
  • Monitor pacing and delivery of online campaigns with an eagle eye
  • Use problem-solving prowess to scout out under-performing ads and give them the boost they need
  • Forecast impressions and use qualitative and analytical thinking to help ensure client objectives are met (but no need to deal with those clients — your role will be strictly data-centric!)
  • Collaborate with the Client Success team on ongoing client strategy
  • Troubleshoot campaign issues and discrepancies using analytical and proprietary tools
  • Support other areas of Ad Operations as needed
Qualifications

  • Ability to analyze and interpret large amounts of data quickly and make strategic decisions based on that info
  • Attention to detail: You cringe at the thought of mistakes and have a zero-defect attitude
  • Out-of-this-world organization: You pride yourself on your pristinely kept desk!
  • Strong work ethic, drive, and ambition
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well with a team and fly solo
  • Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with DFP or other ad server technology is a plus
  • Experience in Programmatic execution is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree and related experience is preferred
