FloSports seeks a content creator to join our Branded Entertainment team in a Producer role. Our major clients—among which are Nike, adidas, ASICS, New Balance and many others—turn to FloSports to tell the stories of athletes to our die-hard audience. The Branded Entertainment Producer leads production on sponsored shoots both in-studio and across the country. Travel goes with the territory, and many of our subjects live and train in some of the most beautiful parts of the country. Working with our talented team of producers, directors and editors, the producer will oversee projects from conception through delivery.

The ideal candidate is a rare gem: an experienced producer who can develop a wide variety of content—including short docs, highlights, studio shows and dynamic footage—as well as plan shoots, liaise with clients and keep the train running on time.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Research and develop multiple projects across different topics/sports
• Support the overall development process throughout the entire pitch, creative and production cycle
• Coordinate shoots including but not limited to scheduling crew, scheduling athletes (often liaising with sales, clients, managers and/or agents) and creating call sheets and schedules
• Managing crew and schedule in the field
• Directing and interviewing athletes in the field, drawing out the best from folks who are not always compliant or natural on camera
• Managing digital media in the field
• Relay detailed field reports back from the field or "Hot Sheets"
• The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable working in the office and in the field

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years’ professional experience in the TV/Film/Video industry
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Proven experience behind the camera capturing high-quality imagery
• Proven experience leading a production team
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Experience with sports storytelling a big plus
