The Cash Application Analyst is responsible for applying high volume cash postings for assigned companies and will mainly provide support for our domestic locations. This position requires a highly motivated self-starter with strong communication and multitasking skills. The successful candidate has a solid understanding of cash application and is highly dependable, attentive to detail, proactive, meticulously organized and able to work gracefully under pressure in a deadline-oriented environment.

Essential Functions:

• Prepares / posts daily cash receipts (checks, wire transfers, credit cards, auto withdrawals and/or offsets).
• Ensures all cash receipts are posted to correct account and company.
• Review and maintain monthly lockbox reconciliation.
• Perform investigations, reconciliations, and research of payment receipts as required.
• Support both Collections and Sales department with updates on cash applications information when needed.
• Assist with month end requirements and meet strict deadlines.
• Provide additional assistance to co-workers as needed.
• Completes other related duties as required.

Required Experience

• Associates degree in business management or related field or a high school diploma (in lieu of associates degree, a combination of experience and education may be accepted).
• 1 to 2 years of practical experience in a similar role/capacity.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• MS Excel experience required.
• Excellent organizational, research, and analytical skills.
• Must be able to work within teams.
• Requires a skill for understanding and solving problems.
• Effective communication skills and service orientation with all customer types, including internal and external.
• Working knowledge of Great Plains Accounting Software and SalesForce a plus.
