Aceable has big growth targets in 2016/2017 and this role will be critical to hitting our numbers. We need an expert to create unique and compelling content across many formats to help us reach our goals. In addition to creating content, you will also be responsible for reporting and assisting with other areas of marketing as needed. This will likely include link-building, content for social media, and improving our email communication. If you are results-focused, scrappy, and smart, you will fit in here.
The ideal candidate has a track record of creating excellent content that has a measurable impact on the bottom line. The ideal candidate will be eager to seek out new ways to improve our communication and is interested in tracking specific success metrics. The candidate will be comfortable A/B testing their output and will seek to improve constantly.

Built by former teachers, NASA engineers and those passionate about education, the Austin-based team is obsessed with helping people with life’s certification challenges. After launching its first mobile app to provide accredited driver’s ed courses, Aceable is now expanding into other verticals for required education. To date, Aceable touts more than 300,000 users and counting, as it continues to expand nationwide.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Create long-form content with the end goal of creating new high value links
- Create short-form content suitable for blog posts that engage our readers
- Manage social media posts and content
- Work collaboratively with paid marketing, business development, and external experts to deliver content that supports our stakeholders and drives results
- Support SEO link-building efforts
- Write script for commercials and educational videos
- Track, report, and analyze engagement and follow rate
- Work with the content team to repurpose existing work
- Research, identify, and implement new content strategies
- Optimize product page copy and landing page content
- Support marketing team in other areas (PPC, PR, etc.) as needed
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 2+ years of content and marketing experience
- Excellent grammar and writing skills
- Understanding of marketing and conversion optimization
- Working knowledge of website analytics tools (Google Analytics, Optimizely, etc.)
- General understanding of email marketing
