Vyopta is seeking a customer support engineer to join our growing customer success team. The Customer Success Engineer will work directly with customers that use our analytics platform for enterprise video and unified collaboration networks. 

Vyopta’s products are used by many of the largest private and public sector enterprises in the world. Our cloud-based platform allows organizations to monitor and improve the performance of their collaboration network, increase adoption, and deeply integrate video into their business. Ideally, this logically-minded and articulate individual will come from a technical background, have an understanding of the unified communications industry, and possess a passion for solving problems and providing data-supported assessments and insights. 

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with our sales and development teams to deliver positive business results to customers through their use of Vyopta tools.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the business needs behind customer requests and help them achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Foster productive working partnerships with end users to ensure a continuing relationship with our customers.
  • Assist with testing and diagnosing software issues in both break-fix and QA settings.
  • Establish deep expertise in the unified collaboration space.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 
  • 2+ years of video/collaboration infrastructure deployment/management experience with Cisco, Polycom, Skype for Business, and/or cloud providers such as Zoom and BlueJeans.
  • Proficiency with data analysis including the ability to author and refine SQL queries and interact with multiple data sources.
  • Experience with development tools ranging from C/C#/C++ to PHP and Python.

Location

We are located off South 360, on the beautiful Barton Creek Greenbelt in south Austin.
