Director, Advertising Operations
- Strong People Manager: Passion for developing talent in early career stages. Regularly evaluate workload distribution across the team as well as individual and overall performance. Teach, inspire and hold accountable.
- Programmatic Expertise: Must be a DFP expert and user of the Doubleclick for Publishers product. Experience working with ad serving technology, header bidding and other digital advertising technologies is critical.
- Solutions Oriented: With a blend of software, technology, platforms and proprietary tools, it requires a creative problem solver who takes an analytical approach to balancing trade-offs to arrive at winning solutions.
- Process Minded: Strong attention to detail with a close eye on the success and effectiveness of current systems. Remove roadblocks and inefficiencies in current workflows to improve time, quality and accuracy of ad execution.
- Operational Excellence: As the expert, establish a base of best practices and standards to drive consistency and ensure that campaigns launch on time and meet the expectations of what was sold.
- Great Communicator: Strong consultative skills, engaging with cross-functional partners across the company to meet business objectives.
- Data Driven Vision: Manage the advertising operations KPIs as well as look at a full suite of analytics (STR, CTR, Conv, eCPM, eCPC, etc) to identify risks, opportunities and improvements for our advertising solutions.
- Resource Planning & Prioritization: Manage expectations internally regarding resources, schedules and budgets. Track capacity, forecast trends, and update the business as needs change.
- This role will be based in Austin, Texas
- Publisher-side ad operations management experience a must.
- 5+ years in digital media advertising.
- Minimum 2 years experience specific to programmatic advertising.
- Minimum 2 years experience managing people (teams size 3+).
- Expert level understanding of DFP ad serving.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to define requirements and processes to execute on new and existing advertising solutions.
