Responsibilities

Your day-to-day (the outcomes you’ll drive as Director of Product Marketing include):

  • Create the Spiceworks vendor story: Work with the product management and sales team to build our positioning and messaging for the vendor business that’s a winning story in the market
  • Be a customer-facing marketing expert: Establish Spiceworks as a leader in the marketing solutions space. Build mindshare with marketing leaders in the tech industry to help support our sales efforts. Meet with customer executives and build credibility around our offerings in the market
  • Drive our GTM strategy forward with the marketing and sales teams to hit revenue targets: Collaborate with sales leaders to drive our go-to-market strategy, ensuring our sales teams are fully enabled to win and deliver the full value of Spiceworks
  • Build a world-class product marketing team: Be a true team leader (not just a manager), but have the experience to manage a team of top players and get the most from them. The team needs to embrace the pace of execution and change that the business demands

Qualifications: What does it take to do this job?

  • Know and be passionate about driving business outcomes with your partners in sales. It’s important that you have a keen business acumen and comfort with numbers
  • 10+ years of experience building and leading great product marketing and sales enablement teams. Having both a demonstrated background in the discipline of product marketing and an ability to coach your team is critical for success
  • A quick learner — the marketing landscape is changing faster than ever with technology playing an ever-increasing role. You’ll need to stay ahead of the curve and understand how those changes might impact our business
  • A demonstrated history of partnering with sales is key to success in any product marketing role, but critical as the leader
  • A knowledge of the martech and media landscape is preferred
  • MBA Required

This role will report to the CMO.
