Our ideal candidate for the Director of User Experience position thrives at the intersection of user insight, data, technology and design. You have experience solving complex multi-product/end user/device/market design challenges and have an exceptional usability experience and design portfolio as proof.

• Own the product design process.
• An ability to turn ordinary digital experiences into the extraordinary experiences for the users.

• Create an experience with the user in mind.

Responsibilities:

• Own the product design process.
• Create visually stunning interface designs for existing products and future prototypes.
• Work directly with product managers and developers to ensure design is properly applied to the product.
• Create innovative solutions to tough interface challenges.
• Develop design patterns for reuse and consistency.
• Communicate with the internal and external customers before, during, and after design production to ensure a perfect solution.
• Interact directly with stakeholders and customers to inform your designs.
• Inject design processes into agile development cycles.
• Experience working in modern agile and lean methodologies.
• Design support : Provide graphics, illustrations and diagrams to support other parts of the business.
• Create presentations for the executive team.
• Maintain up to date asset files to be used in design solutions
• Translate needs into tangible design solutions.
• Utilize/extend the design language to illustrate the design solution
• Create Comps, wireframes, diagrams, flow charts, specification documents.

The perfect candidate will have the following experience:

• Bachelor's degree desired.
• 5+ years in product design, UI/UX experience.
• An amazing portfolio of product design experience.
• Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with Sketch, Experience Design and Invision is a plus.
• A strong understanding of web technologies.
• Ability to communicate design recommendations to both peers, engineering and company leaders.
• Strong working knowledge of business analysis, qualitative research, digital strategy, customer experience modeling, information architecture and UI design.
• Process-oriented and comfortable with critique and heavy collaboration.
• Great communicator who can break down complex ideas into simple explanations and user interfaces.
• Understanding of the end-to-end user-centered design process, from strategy, to concept, to final design.
