2017 Summer Internship: Finance
Austin, TX
What is the opportunity?
The Finance team is looking for an intern to assist in building systems and reporting to give us insights into business drivers. As a finance intern at Main Street Hub, your goal will be to use data analysis to track key metrics, automate the tracking of the customer lifecycle, and assist in building out key finance reporting and processes.
Here’s a sampling of what you’ll tackle in this role:
- Assist in the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements
- Prepare actual and forecast financial data
- Assist in month-end and quarter-end close activities
- Generate and review financial key operating statistics
- Prepare reports (scheduled and ad-hoc) in support of senior financial analyst and leadership team members
- Generate various financial analyses such as cost analysis and headcount reporting
- Coordinate and gather, analyze, summarize and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans and operating forecasts

Required Education:
- Currently pursuing a BS / BA degree from an accredited four-year university and entering as a college Senior year by Summer 2017 (must have completed 90 hours of college)
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Must be working towards a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
