About the Role:
The Financial Analyst is a member of our Revenue Team and reports to the Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. You will focus on revenue reporting and analysis as well as related Data support. You will be comfortable in database-driven analytical decision-support systems and reporting dashboards, with a structured process-driven mind-set, passionate about data-driven approaches to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare weekly RMN revenue flash reports, tracking network and merchant-level performance for key revenue drivers
  • Coordinate the global site roll-up into the Consolidated Flash report, scheduling team reviews and ensuring performance variances are identified and addressed
  • Prepare daily Global Tier1 revenue flash updates (summary network metrics)
  • Assist with revenue driver analysis and related dashboards
  • Help verify on-going revenue database integrity, ensuring completeness and accuracy for revenue reporting (liaison with Data Engineering and Business Analytics teams)
  • Support Revenue Team in automation of revenue and AR reporting processes
  • Assist with preparation and data analysis of AR Aging
  • Support month-end Accounting Close process
  • Assist with annual audit, SOX documentation and internal controls
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (Accounting, Finance or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3+ years of related work experience
  • Skilled in MS Excel (including advanced lookup, reference functions and VBA)
  • Experience with SQL scripting and relational databases
  • Exposure to analytical data marts/data warehouses, decision-support planning and reporting systems
  • Working knowledge of Python and Tableau a “plus”
  • Curiosity about information flows and data relationships, seeing and solving “the puzzle”
  • Ability to independently identify issues, crisply articulate findings, propose, and drive solutions
