Golden Frog is looking for an IT Procurement Specialist to join our Operations Team. This is an exciting position to develop and help build out best practices for our purchasing and asset management processes.  As our IT Procurement Specialist, you will manage all activities related to IT Operations purchasing, receiving, inventory controls, and vendor relations. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of developing a successful purchasing and asset management strategy, has effective negotiation skills, and can reduce costs and improve purchasing productivity. 

Responsibilities: 

• Establish and maintain all IT Operations purchasing requisitions, documentation, forecasts and receiving documentation.
• Negotiate prices and terms with vendors to meet business goals and develop strong supplier relationships. This includes negotiating long term commitments.
• Participate cross-functionally on multiple projects at any given time.
• Maintain database of active vendors.
• Identify and qualify potential suppliers and vendors.
• Maintain all IT Operations related service and support agreements and manage the end dates so that agreements are re-negotiated and renewed on time.
• Communicate procurement issues that affect the day to day business operations.
• Compile pricing information to keep informed on price trends.
• Accurately measure savings from current to re-negotiated prices as applicable.
• Create purchase orders and ensure proper transactional execution.
• Facilitate the terms review and execution of new and renewal agreements.
• Prepare and lead requests for proposals and bid package reviews as needed. 
• Manage all IT Operations assets, both physical and virtual, globally.
• Process material returns as needed.
• Process the international shipping and receiving of assets as needed.
• Maintain and monitor asset information such as warranty, end of life support, upgrades, etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years purchasing experience in a high-tech environment. 
• Knowledge with regards to the preparation of proposals and the development of contracts.
• MRO buying experience preferred. 
• Experience developing and documenting processes.
• Working knowledge of inventory planning and forecasting is a plus.
• Demonstrated budgeting, cost management, and inventory management skills.
• Experience with global transit purchasing is a plus. 
• Experience with co-location agreements is a plus.
• Proficient with Excel and MS Office.
• Strong organizational skills. 
• Experience with NetSuite Procurement software is a plus. 
• Complex problem solving skills and the ability to coordinate and monitor multiple projects at one given time.
