We're looking for a​ Junior ​Financial Analyst at Resignation Media in our HQ located in beautiful downtown Austin, TX.

Through partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Operations, the Financial Analyst will help build and design analytical dashboards that not only look cool, but will help drive key financial decisions in a fast moving company.

Job Description:

• Assist in consolidation and analysis lots of data (budgets, income statement forecasts, financial ratios, and the like) while taking into account our goals and financial standing.
• Aid in the development of repeatable reports covering key departmental and financial metrics.
• Shadow the resident expert and go-to person for analysis requests across the organization, so that you can step in and help out when needed.
• Do math like a magician. And do magic like a mathematician.
• Provide creative recommendations to reduce costs and improve performance.
• Help in the development of financial models, benchmarking and process analysis.
• Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance which will help the Sr. Financial Analyst in the development ofDou forecast models.
• Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions based on sound analysis.
• Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts.

Requirements:

• ​One to ​two years of experience as a junior ​financial analyst or similar analytical role.
• Unparalleled Excel skills (That's right: You must excel in Excel).
• Experience working with data from financial systems (Netsuite preferred).
• Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills.
• Highly motivated and able to take ownership of analysis projects from start to finish.
• A get-it-done attitude and strong work ethic.
• General understanding of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis.
• Strong communication skills, and the ability to translate the results of complex analysis into a simple and actionable explanation.
• A sense of humor!
• Finance or accounting degree and/or significant experience with concepts.
