Job Description + Responsibilities:  Reporting to our Director of Marketing, we are looking to hire an experienced copywriter who can help define and bring to life our brand and ensure it is infused across all our member experiences. This is a broad role where,  at least for now,  you will be the only writer on staff and therefore will get to work on a range of projects - including - but not limited to writing taglines, website + product copy, email subject lines, blog posts, ad copy, etc.

 

Job Details:

  • Help define, and ultimately own , Seasoned’s brand/voice.  Edit and expand brand guidelines as they evolve
  • Translate strategic direction into clear, clever, grammatically correct copy that inspires and motivates members to take action
  • Collaborate with team members to bring creative ideas, content and concepts to life
  • Review/edit copywriting deliverables from agencies and partners
  • Proofread and edit

Requirements:

  • 5 + years of copywriting, conceptualization, editing experience, along with a strong opinion on the use of the Oxford comma
  • Experience developing copy/concept of creative from inception through completion
  • Excellent presentation skills and team/collaboration skills
  • Proven track record of results in a fast-paced, high growth, limited resource environment
  • Experience working in restaurants or bars strongly preferred
  • A four-year degree in Advertising, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field

Our office overlooks the 360/Pennybacker Bridge in scenic Northwest Austin. From our rooftop deck you can see Lake Austin and beautiful downtown.
