In a typical week, you will:- Lead architecture decisions about Pingboard’s client-side web application
- Use JavaScript best practices and standards to write well-tested, maintainable code
- Work with our team of full-stack developers to improve their JavaScript skills
- Learn and grow in a highly collaborative environment, including code reviews, pairing sessions, and a commitment to great UI/UX
- Work directly with the founders on a talented, nimble, friendly team that puts the end-user first
- Be part of a team that cares about you and your personal growth and development
- Make yourself at home at our office in Austin’s fabulous S. First neighborhood, surrounded by delicious coffee and tacos
- A drive to continually expand your knowledge of the rapidly changing JavaScript ecosystem
- Experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks and writing standalone JavaScript
- Experience with and interest in the D3 JavaScript library
- Experience working on a small team and owning your work
- Experience with Git and code versioning
- Experience with writing tests for your code
- A deep appreciation for details and a drive to make things better
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
