Due to accelerated growth, we are looking to add Pre-Sales Engineers to our local team in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with security, network, routing/switching, etc.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing and prioritizing sales opportunities
• Travel NOT required
• Clearly articulate the benefits of AlienVault’s applications to all levels       including line of business managers
• Provide input to other cross-functional departments pertaining to prospect requests and product enhancements as needed
• Maintain account and opportunity updates within our internal sales force automation system.

  Job Requirements

• Previous Security experience in one or more of the following desired:
• SIEM (OSSIM, Arcsight, Q1Labs, etc)
• IPS (Sourcefire, ISS, McAfee, Cisco, Snort, etc)
• Anti-Virus
• Firewall
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of managing and winning technical and high value IT security projects
• Successful quota achievement
• Experience in administrating Unix/Linux systems, low-layer (packet level) IP networking and have a thorough understanding of network security. Experience with programming languages such as UNIX shell, Perl or C.
• Highly motivated self starter that does not need day-to-day management
• Desirable experience
• Prior experience with OSSIM
