Manager, Instructional Design
The Instructional Design Manager will help create an effective, innovative and engaging learning experience for LegalZoom Operations. This role encompasses content design and delivery to support onboarding, operational deployments and change management initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Works with various business stakeholders to identify training needs
- Designs and create instructor led, computer based, and virtual training
- Leads a collaborative development process while working closely with the Instructors, Knowledge Management, Communications and key project partners
- Creates the learning architecture necessary to support a high change velocity organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- Knowledge and understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies for classroom based, self-guided and virtual training
- Knowledge and understanding of change management methodologies
- Experience partnering at a high level on change management initiatives
- Experience developing training for a customer service or sales contact center preferred
- 4-6 years work experience in a training and development field.
- Experience with web-authoring tools and multimedia (basic HTML coding skills, Dreamweaver, XML, javascript & CSS).
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, ScreenFlow or other image manipulation tools.
- Experience working within learning and content management systems.
- Experience with Agile project management methodology
- Experience with ADDIE & SAM design methodology
- Advanced certifications in training design and development and project management a plus
- Advanced degree in Organization Development, Organizational Change, Instructional Technology or related field preferred
