What is the opportunity?

Main Street Hub is the largest “do-it-for-you” marketing platform for great local businesses. As one of the fastest growing companies in Local, we’re focused on building the best sales team working with Small Businesses. In just a few short years, we've worked with thousands of local businesses across the country, but we're just getting started.

The Information Technology department of Main Street Hub is on a mission to deliver top notch IT support while maintaining the highest standards in application and data security, network resources availability, maintenance of server services.

What you'll do:

  • Guide installation and configuration of existing and new server equipment
  • Assigning, resolving and closing trouble tickets
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware failures and identifies common problems when they relate to the end user computing environment
  • Review and troubleshoot Windows event logs
  • Maintains desktop support related documentation, PC inventory records, knowledge base information
  • Backup administration and scheduling
  • Acts as an “in the field” service technician
  • Active directory and group policy management
  • Interface with clients and employees from other departments

What will it take to succeed?

  • Proven track record of supporting end user’s hardware and applications (Windows 7, Google Apps for Work, IP phone systems, basic local area network troubleshooting skills)
  • VmWare 5.5+ management experience
  • Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 knowledge
  • Knowledge of router/switching (Cisco, Fortigate and HP switch experience a plus)
  • Familiarity with network security
  • NAS/SAN storage knowledge
  • Deep appreciation for great end user support experience
  • Great attention to detail, because details matter
