What is the opportunity?


The Product Manager, Business Applications will report to the VP Growth and will be responsible for the ownership of Main Street Hub’s CRM ecosystem which currently includes third party platforms such as Salesforce.com, Zendesk, and Marketo. The Product Manager will evaluate whether this is the right CRM portfolio and recommend the appropriate mix for Main Street Hub in order to maximize sales productivity. This role will collaborate with business users, internal stakeholders, and development teams to implement solutions that drive business results. Candidates must have strong communication skills, a sense for good user experience design, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Work with business users, internal stakeholders, and development partners to develop. strategies and deliver solutions that drive business growth and sales productivity.

  • Manage the relationship with Bluewolf, our external development partner.

  • Establish, measure, and update teams on sales productivity KPIs resulting from the rollout of new functionality and CRM improvements.

  • Deploy new functionality in strict accordance with established change management procedures.

  • Research and keep current on technologies and communicates trends and future needs from a business perspective.

  • Maintain and enhance data integrity through effective design, maintenance and security of the CRM platforms.

  • Develop, enhance and maintain automated processes in and applications integrated with the platforms. 

  • Document best practices and operational procedures.


What does it take to succeed?



  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, or equivalent experience.

  • A minimum of 5 years of Salesforce.com or similar sales CRM administration experience is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of total experience in a software development environment.

  • Experience with Zendesk and Marketo a plus.

  • Experience driving sales productivity and business results through effective implementation of CRM tools.

  • Must have strong knowledge of the architecture of Salesforce objects and entities like Page Layouts, Standard and Custom Objects, Apex and Visual Force code, etc., and be able to apply that knowledge to ensure deliverables from multiple development work threads while following robust release management disciplines and procedures.

  • Must be a confident, self-starter individual who can completely own the delivery of high value work products.

  • Formal certifications like Salesforce.com Certified Consultant, Salesforce.com Certified Advanced Administrator, etc. are preferable.

  • Experience working with outside implementation partners to deliver new functionality.

  • Must have strong understanding of SFDC programming environments (Apex, Visual Force, etc.).

  • Experience with Salesforce development, including hands-on configuration and release management experience, are strong requirements.

  • Must be able to work well with users at all levels, including C-Level executives.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and design skills.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle.

  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem solving skills are necessary.
