Aceable is a mobile education platform that focuses on creating affordable, engaging and convenient educational content across all devices. Built by former teachers, NASA engineers, and those passionate about education, the Austin-based team is obsessed with helping people with life’s certification challenges. After launching its first mobile app to provide accredited driver’s ed courses, Aceable is now expanding into other verticals for required education. To date, Aceable touts more than 300,000 users and counting, as it continues to expand nationwide.
ABOUT YOUR NEW TEAM
Our QA Team is composed of the two greatest minds you’ll ever meet. Or, at least, they’re pretty nice. Day-to-day life in QA consists of at least 4 cups of coffee, several animal photo share sessions, and a whole lot of sarcastic jabs at the developers. We take 3 types of certification, in 12 states, over 3 platforms, and catch all of the bugs for squelching. We want someone who will make our apps better than we thought they could be, while regularly joining us for eating sweets. We are excited to work with you and help you succeed!

WHAT YOU'LL DO- Immediately, you’ll jump in and help us advance the QA processes, making you an instant hero in Developer Land
- Learn our web client across multiple courses and report all found bugs
- Assist in Android and iOS clients’ testing
- Develop and execute a test plan for a new product release which will be offered across our web, Android, and iOS platforms
- Interface with Customer Experience as a technical advisor to help solve customers minor issues
- Use Jira, Confluence, and Testrail to track and report bugs
- Assist in the creation of the quality assurance process and standards, from development to live
- 3+ years of experience as a QA engineer
- The knowledge to test for consistent UI, content and user experience
- Experience in agile (scrum) development processes
- Precise attention to detail
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Technically savvy and accustomed to working on a wide range of devices
- Mobile device testing experience
- Experience in creating and implementing test automations
