• Define, document, and socialize QA processes and policies within an Agile development environment
• Educate developers on writing effective tests, and on best practices for producing testable features and code
• Determine the correct test approaches for user stories and write appropriate test plans
• Execute test plans, with an emphasis on automation but a willingness to manually test when necessary
• Train junior QA engineers on FVT practices and ultimately test automation
• Conduct one-on-ones with junior QA reports

• 5+ years of experience as a QA engineer
• 2+ years of experience managing employees
• Proven ability to define, document, and socialize QA processes and policies
• Ability to write clear and precise defects and anticipate what information the developer will need to resolve the defect
• Ability to insist on a high level of software quality from developers and make them grateful you’re doing so
• Ability to train junior QA engineers, and to participate in hiring if needed
• Professional experience testing web applications built with a client side JS framework, ideally React/Redux

• Ability to think exceptionally at any scope, from the big picture to the tiny details
• Familiarity with serverless technologies like AWS Lambda and the Serverless JS framework
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
