Our Austin office is looking for a social community manager intern to help grow the communities for a range of Springbox clients. The position will act as the primary support of ongoing social media communication, monitoring, reactive engagement and reporting on fan insights. An ideal candidate will not only have knowledge of social networks, technology and trends, but a desire to learn more about all three and understand how they fit into a larger digital ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Post, monitor, respond for a range brands
• Flag relevant conversations and engage the creative team to create timely content
• Help the creative team with monthly cadence concepting and lend audience and content insight to guide content creation
• Keep up with current trends/platforms/happenings, make recommendations for optimization
• Work with the analytics team to flesh out reports and provide tangible insights and recommendations for both internal and external teams
• Assist with strategy and planning for different brands
• Track influencers and ambassadors and assist with outreach strategies

Requirements/Qualifications

• Junior or Senior status at an accredited university, or recently graduated
• Knowledge and love for social media
• Familiarity with trending media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.
• Solid writing skills and a high attention to detail
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in marketing/advertising, communications or related field 
• Strong individual contributor who is collaborative and thrives in a team environment
• Confidence with Google Apps and Microsoft Office tools (Google Slides, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Experience with social media monitoring platforms, listening platforms and content management systems are a plus
