- Specifying, designing, implementing test automation framework.
- Designing, coding and documenting automated test cases within a defined framework to ensure the quality of our brands.
- Creating automated suites to run on various desktop and mobile environments.
- Expanding automation framework to provide additional test capabilities such as continuous integration.
- Translating existing manual regression test cases into automated tests.
- Analyzing existing systems to find areas for improvement.
- Conducting diagnostic analysis and troubleshooting to resolve complex software issues.
- Evolving automated test framework to achieve higher test throughput with increased accessibility and test execution flexibility.
- Expert level in at least 1 programming language with a preference in Ruby, Javascript, or Python
- Implement end-to-end test automation in a test automation framework.
- Configuring use of SauceLabs, BrowserStack or similar suite.
- Selenium Webdriver - active use and good knowledge of the framework.
- Experience with Git/GitHub required. Familiarity with incorporating work with CI tools such as Jenkins/Hudson/Bamboo required.
- Basic expertise with SQL is required. Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is desirable
- Ability to work concurrently on several projects, each with specific instructions that may
- differ from project to project.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a collaborative environment as well
- as independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Expertise in analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
